Jeudi dernier, j’ouvre ma boite
de messagerie et je découvre un mail d’un expéditeur inconnu m’informant avoir gagné à un jeu-concours ! Le mail est en
anglais et mon anglais étant titubant, j’ai fait appel à deux collègues pour
lire le message en question espérant qu’ils n’allaient pas me confirmer ce
que j’ai compris.
Eh bien, non ! J’ai bien gagné
un million de dollars ! Mon interprète de service et un autre collègue de
bureau ont commencé déjà à rêvasser à ma place me réclamant l’un une
voiture, l’autre un voyage je ne sais où. Un troisième rejoint la bande pour
commencer une série de questions indiscrètes.
N’ayant jamais participé à un jeu quelconque, ne croyant pas du tout à
l’argent facile, parano de nature pensant déjà à une sordide affaire de
blanchiment d’argent, journaliste de métier cherchant toujours un maximum
d’informations, j’ai tourné le dos à mes collègues pour aller voir
rapidement un confrère qui, comme moi, a ses quelques années d’ancienneté
sur le net ! Je lui transmet le mail lui demandant de trouver avec moi où
se trouve la faille, le piège, l’arnaque.
Je sais qu’il y en a une ! Je ne
le vois pas ! Mon confrère le voit ! Le mail en question m’informe que j’ai
gagné à un jeu-concours sur Internet, or il n’y a pas aucune adresse de site où
vérifier qu’il y a bel et bien eu un prix gagné. C’est louche. Il y a juste
une adresse électronique et un numéro de téléphone. On pense à un numéro
surfacturé et on oublie le mail en question !
Quelques jours plus tard, un autre mail parvenant d’une adresse différente
(mais se référant comme la première à une entreprise néerlandaise) m’informe
que j’ai gagné cette fois 150.000 euros ! Cette fois, pour moi c’est clair !
Moi qui ne gagne jamais rien (à part quelques sous dans un casino
helvétique) et qui ne participe à aucun jeu de hasard sur le net, il y a
bien anguille sous roche pour que je gagne en moins d’une semaine un million
de dollars et 150.000 euros sans que je ne demande rien !
Il y a bel et bien un problème et je vous invite, amis lecteurs, managers,
ingénieurs à deviner lequel. Vous trouverez les mails en question
sur les liens suivants. S’il y a une arnaque, qu’on devine laquelle et
médiatisons la ! Merci !
